| Boats 90,113,141,295,296 and 334 passed
through the gate from the course to
non-course side within two minutes of their
first rounding. Since it is
not possible to complete a lap in that time,
it is assumed that these boats
were attempting to correct a gate port end
rounding error. Rule 28,
however, requires these boats to retrace
their courses and sail back around
the gate port end, outside the gate, to
unwind the string. This did
not occur and subsequent gate times have been
ignored. |
