these two boats.
(Please not that the purpose of a gate
at
Sugarloaf is different to courses where
a
gate is often used at the downwind end
of the
course. The gate at Sugarloaf is
most often upwind and exists for the
purposes of mounting the lap cameras and it
doubles as a finish line.
The
gate mark to round after passing through
from
the course side of the gate is the
same as that specified for the hand of
the course. ie passing all marks to
Starboard or Port as indicated by the
Race
Committee boat flags.)
