The Winter Series runs from the beginning of May to the end of August. |
Points are accumulated in two Divisions. Open and Junior. Both Yardstick and Performance Handicap System, PHS, results are presented.

In a typical year there are over 8 programmed races that make up the Winterr Series. There is one race on each sailing day (every Sunday). It is the Yardstick result that is used to calculate the series place getters. Points are allocated using the low point system equivalent to the placing of each boat that completed the race with the exception of first place which is awarded 0.75 points.

Winter race results are also presented with Championship 'High Points' which are allocated as 3,2,1 for first second and third respectively. These points are aggregated with the Summer series points to determine the Club champion for both Open and Junior Divisions. In the Championship case, highest points wins. There are no drops in the championship series. |
