This notice of race is issued by the Sugarloaf Sailing Club Inc. as the organising authority. The Regatta will be sailed on the Sugarloaf Reservoir, Christmas Hills, located off the Eltham to Yarra Glen road. |

The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined by the International Sailing Federation, ISAF rules and the prescriptions of Yachting Australia as modified by Sugarloaf Sailing Club Inc. Sailing Instructions. |
Melbourne Water allows the use of the Reservoir under strictly enforced condtions of entry. All competitiors shall agree to abide by these condtions prior to entry to the sailing area. |

3.1 The regatta is designed for disabled sailors and is open to Access 2.3, 303 and Access Liberty classes including servo assist. |
3.2 The helmsperson, and when appropriate, the crew shall |
3.2.1 be members of a club affiliated with Yachting Victoria Inc. or its equivalent in another State or Territory and be a current Yachting Australia Silver Member, and |
3.2.2 shall not be changed without prior approval of the Race Committee. Such approval shall only be considered if the application is in writing and a valid reason is given. |
3.3 The number of boats competing is limited. Accordingly, eligible boats must preregister and be acknowledged as contestants prior to the day. |

Boats will be handicapped according to Helmsman and Crew (if applicable) abilities at the sole discretion of the Sugarloaf Sailing Club Handicapper. |

Single person boats: $20.00 |

It is intended to run a minimum of three races over the day |

Measurement is not required but each boat shall submit proof of holding a valid measurement certificate if requested by the Race Committee. |

The sailing instructions will be available after 09:00 hours on Tuesday 26th January 2010 at the Sugarloaf Sailing Club registration desk or on the Sugarloaf Sailing Club Inc. web site. |

|
The course shall be as described in the Sailing Instructions but in any case will comprise one triangle with sides of approximately 0.5 nautical Mile. |

|
The 360 degree & 720 degree turn penalty shall apply for an infringement in accordance with the respective ISAF Rules of Racing |

|
11.1 Two of three races are required to be completed. |
11.2 (a) When fewer than three races have been completed, a boat's series score will be the total of her race scores. |
(b) When three races have been completed, a boat's series score will be the total of her race scores excluding her worst score. |
|
|
Presentations will be held as soon as possible after the last race. |
Prizes will be awarded to the overall winner |
Prizes will also be awarded to the winners and placegetters in each division depending on the number of entries. |

Competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their own risk. See rule 4, Decision to Race. The organizing authority will not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during, or after the regatta. |
|
|
Each participating boat shall be insured with valid third-party liability insurance with a minimum cover of AUD $5,000,000 per event or the equivalent. Evidence of insurance cover may be requested by the Race Committee at registration. |

|
Any amendments to this Notice of Race shall be posted on the Sugarloaf Sailing Club website (www.sailsugarloaf.com) later than 17:00 hours on 22/1/2010. |
